Democratizing the Art of Seeing.
We aren't just another stuffy photography school. Olympus Lens was born from a simple realization: high-end gear doesn't make the photographer—curiosity does. We're here to help you unlock the magic inside your camera bag, no matter your skill level.
Our Philosophy
Why did we start Olympus Lens? Honestly, we were tired of hearing jargon that made beginners feel excluded. Megapixels, f-stops, chromatic aberration—it sounds like a science lab, not a creative studio.
Our mission is making photography accessible. You'll find our studio at 284 Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn to be a safe space for questions. Ever wondered why your photos looked blurry despite your best efforts? We've been there. We're bridging the gap for total beginners by focusing on the 'why' before the 'how'.
"Photography is a language you already speak; we just help you find the right words."
Meet the Visionaries
The humans behind the lenses at Olympus Lens.
The Visionary
Lead Instructor
With over 12 years behind a Leica, they believe that the best camera is the one you have with you. Fun fact: Their first camera was a plastic point-and-shoot won at a carnival!
The Pixel Artist
Post-Processing Specialist
A wizard at Lightroom and Photoshop. They don't just 'fix' photos; they reveal the emotion hidden in the RAW files. They still keep their first Nikon film camera on their desk for inspiration.
Real Stories
Mariamer E.
"The way they explain exposure finally made it click for me. No more scary math!"
Ezack Beavers
Hobbyist Photographer
I walked into Olympus Lens thinking I needed a $3,000 camera to be 'real.' The instructors showed me how to win with the gear I already had. Their workshops in Brooklyn are honestly the highlight of my month.
Bavneet C.
Why did I choose Olympus Lens?
Because they treat you like a colleague from day one, even if you don't know where the 'on' button is.
